Changes in the migration registration regulations for foreign citizens

Dear students!

Pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Law dated 01/07/2021 effective from 29/12/2021:
1)     Foreign citizens having entered the Russian Federation before 29/12/2021 for purposes not associated with the employment for a period exceeding 90 calendar days, or for the purpose of the employment, have to undergo fingerprint registration, photography and medical
examination within 180 calendar days starting from 14/07/2022 (until 11/01/2023);

2)      Foreign citizens having entered the Russian Federation after 29/12/2021 for a period exceeding 90 calendar days have to undergo a medical examination and mandatory state fingerprint registration and photography within 90 calendar days from the date of entry into the Russian Federation.

These procedures are obligatory for all international students from CIS and non-CIS states.
