Graduates of Russian universities will be able to receive an electronic copy of the diploma

The Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov signed a decree according to which a graduate will be able to receive a certified electronic version of his diploma in a declarative way, according to the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

According to the innovations, graduates can apply and receive a certified copy of the diploma to the specified e-mail address. In order to denote the form of study in the diploma, undergo accelerated training according to an individual plan and learn part of the program at another university, the administration must receive a written consent from the graduate.

"Students can do this remotely – either in online form or send the scanned copy of a document to the university by mail" the text says.
It is specified that the innovation will make it possible to indicate in the diploma information about several acquired qualifications.
The changes will be valid until September 1, 2028.
