Documents Required for Invitation:

- International passport (original) and a copy of the front page. (face image should be clear and passport details should be readable). Passport should be valid for at least 18 Months from the starting date of the visa you intend to obtain.

- You have to say additional information to our manager: country and city of your birth, full name and full your postal address, dates of your planned visit, country and city where you plan to apply for Russian visa.

- Invitations to Russia are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the General Administration for Migration Issues of the Interior Ministry of Russia. It takes approximately 25 working days, depends on country.

In order to enter Russia most foreign nationals or stateless persons need a Russian visa. Russian visa is obtained through the Russian Embassy (Consular Department) or Russian Consulate in your country of residence. In certain countries there are authorised visa centres which provide such services.

Documents Required for a Student Visa:

- International passport (original) and a copy of the front page;
- Official invitation from the University issued of the Interior Ministry of Russia;

Passport should be valid for at least 18 months from the starting date of the visa you intend to obtain.

To extend your visa, please prepare all relevant documents and submit them in person to the migration department not earlier than 90 calendar days and no later than 45 calendar days prior to the expiry date of your visa. Student visa are normally valid for 1 year.

When applying for visa extension, you need to pay stamp duty.
The stamp duty for the extension of a one-year student visa is 1,920 roubles.

On arrival at the place of education you must strait away register at the Immigration Service in the next 7 days.

Hotel, hostel, apartments and others owner must apply for your registration at the local territorial office of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs or MFC.

Violation by foreign citizens of the immigration registration rulers & regulations carries a punishment by Russian legislation of a fine up to seven thousand (7 000.00).

If the student will have two administrative fine, he will be deported from Russia on the basis of a court decision.

Every foreign students is obliged to have valid Russian medical insurance card. The University can't issue invitation without medical insurance card.

In addition to that, all foreign citizens must have a valid medical insurance throughout the entire period of their stay in Russia.

The cost of medical insurance card is 16.000 rubles (~250$) a year.

Medical insurance compensates the cost of providing medical services (Emergency Dental Care, Home and Dormitory Visits, Emergency Medical Care etc.) on sum 300.000 roubles.
